As a Chartered Certified Accountant (ACCA), Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS), and an IFAD-accredited Financial Management Consultant, he brings an unmatched combination of technical expertise, strategic insight, and leadership to every engagement. His MSc in Financial Services Management from the University of Salford, UK, and membership in the Institute of Directors of Southern Africa further solidified his credentials as a thought leader and advocate for corporate governance and business excellence.

Wellington's career spans leadership roles such as Chief Risk Officer, Head of Internal Audit, and Finance Business Partner at leading institutions including Nouvobanq and Barclays across different jurisdictions in Africa. These roles honed his ability to navigate complex regulatory landscapes while driving organizational performance and resilience, as Strategic Knowledge Partner, Financial Services Expert, and as Leadership Coach
